Nancy's Book Club - 1st recommendation

Dying to Be Me by Anita Moorjani

I have found this book to be very inspiring, particularly Part 3. I offer it to you so that you may join me in this inspiration. And, while Anita's journey is remarkable, it is not predictive of anyone's future.

Gemma, Andrew and I are enjoying this beautiful day together - we've started a big 3-D puzzle! I feel great. Love, peace, joy.

  1. Hello to you, my most lovely friend Nancy. Our women's group received photos of last year's retreat on Salt Spring and it was lovely to see all our connections through Dianne's photos. I am with you so much my friend through every emotional and spiritual step of your journey.

The 3D puzzle sounds great. Please give mIss G a big hug from us.

We say Sara Ratner today and spent time with her , her new puppy Ringo and her horses, Hannah and Nick.

You look gorgeous, but that is nothing new !! I am also with you in love , peace and joy.

  5. Dearest Nancy, Gemma and Andrew,

Kate, Brent and I had a very special morning today. After we woke up we all crawled in to bed together and snuggled. As a family we thought and talked about your family and set our intention for your health and happiness. We reveled in the beauty that is family and love and marveled in our fortune to know you. You see, even when you are in your struggles, you still manage to enrich our lives with love and special experiences. We love and cherish you.

  6. Nancy dear heart - although we we haven't seen each other since Kate's wedding shower, and although we haven't spent much time together for many years, I have been so honoured to be invited to share this part of your journey, even if only through written word.

You said it so beautifully when you talked about being LOVE, and while I so wish for you a different set of circumstances, I am profoundly encouraged and strengthened by your words and your ever-inspiring approach to life's challenges.

I wish for you and Andrew and Gemma - more peace, joy, and love in the coming weeks than you could possibly imagine. You are held deeply in my thoughts, heart, and prayers.

    Love Liz

  9. I have tried so many times to comment on here Nancy and this time I am going to power through it! Like your dear sweet Mother in law, I am an emotional person, on my sleeve they are. So I will try hard not to be weepy here! You and Andrew and Gemma are in my families thoughts and hearts every day. I am so glad to have known you however briefly and seen you through the years when you have come to visit Constance. I feel we are kindred spirits you and I , and I have vicariously felt your strength as a person through this blog. Thank you so much for including me in your inner circle. Know that your mother in law is being helped, held and comforted as much as we can do. As you know, Nancy, I am not a religious person, but I feel such peace coming from you now and my heart is both full and empty at the same time! Much love and respect to you all, Aubyn, Terry and Taegyn

  10. Nancy - this is from Christine (Mary Mollon)....

    For you Nancy:

“And still, after all this time, the Sun has never said to the Earth,
    "You owe me."
Look what happens with love like that.
    It lights up the sky.”
    ― Hafez

I want you to know that I had a very similar experience to hers and know all she said in her book to be true and beautiful. We are far more magnificent than we ever truly know. We are love itself - all connected. It makes my heart happy to see you Andrew, Gemma, and Roxy all together. Thank you for sharing dear heart! Big hugs, Diane

This book was part of a group left on the counter at school with the intention of I felt compelled to pick it up with no idea why and although I have not read any of it yet, will have a new perspective when I get to it. Nancy, my prayers are with you as you, Gemma and Andrew go through the next chapter of your story. Hugs ~ Gwynne
