Friday Update.....

This update is from a friend - Nancy asked me to post so that will know what is happening in her world.
Nancy is still at St. Paul's Hospital.......she is improving everyday.    She will keep you updated.
She loves you all, but she is not ready for visitors.  Please feel free to post your comments on this blog.   She cannot reply to you - but she loves hearing from you.   Nancy says "have a great weekend!"

  1. What a fabulous place you work and live in, Nance!
Last night I took a walk around the campus, and revisited all of the spots that you took Saige and me, years ago. As I stood at the lookout point, at sunset, I was awestruck by the multidimensional view before me. Below, was the carefully constructed and lovingly tended rose garden, framed by the backdrop of the silhouettes of both the trees and the mountains sandwiching the bay. To the west, the clouds and sun were delivering one of their finest performances across their stage. Of course, I took a picture with my camera, (because that's what I do), but couldn't capture the essence of the experience. Your essence filled me, though.
I also want to share a moment as I walked up to your front door, the other day. The angel beside your front step was illuminated from her left side, and the effect was dramatic. .. she commanded my attention, with grace.
I am unable to distinguish between the beauty that exists here, and the beauty that is you- nor is there any reason to try.
Stay in your light and love, Nance.
May your force continue to strengthen.
    I love you very much.

  2. When I was a babe I saw my parents as my source of joy
Then as I grew up I reached to every other girl and boy
Now at last I see the truth and claim for me the love that’s from within
    Im lovin me again.

I have wandered many roads the find the truth I had to live
Ive looked into many hearts to find the love I had to give
I have known the emptiness that can only be filled from within
    Im loving me again.

I reached into the world for peace I sought the blessing high and low
Sought a source outside myself some secret that I didn’t know
All the world can give me is reflections of the love I feel within
    Im loving me again.

Im the gift the treasure Im the one who shows how much God cares
Without me to give the love the love will not be anywheres
I’m the well from which love springs I am the sun that shines here from within
    Im loving me again.

  4. The light streams from her eyes
    casting her face in shadow.
    Who is she?
    She is every woman,
    the Divine Feminine.

    May the love you have all around and inside of you comfort you and support you all along your journey;
    May your spirit never weaken;
May all your prayers be answered.

Sending love and light and strength

  8. Sending positive and happy thoughts to all of you. I still look back with kindness to your family during my first Christmas in Kerrisdale. I think we both recall what a wonderful journey that was for me. Thank you again for being so kind and opening your hearts and family to me. I also wanted to share our good news: Graham and I are getting married August 30th of this year. With Kindness, Debbie

  12. Hey Nancy and Andrew. Carol Greer in New Brunswick here. Gwynne let me know of your blog. Thank you so much for your generousity in sharing your story. The beauty of humanity rings clear. And the beauty of the love your family shares. Wow! You continue to be inspirational! I will add my energy to that flowing from others. I really enoyed the time I spent with you in dinner club so many years ago now. Many hugs and lots of love.

  13. Hi Nancy,
What a gift it was to see Gemma on Sunday at the Youth Bach choir concert.
She gave me a hug, what an amazing young lady she is. A lot like her Mum.
Sending my love and when walking in the neighbourhood will send love to your
    home too.
    Hugs, Joanne
